Board Member
With over 20 years of experience in horsemanship, Mary Galletti is passionate about the power of equine therapy and its ability to support mental health. As a board member of the Risen Warriors Foundation, she is dedicated to their mission of providing comprehensive, wrap-around mental health support to the brave soldiers of our nation.
Mary’s commitment to this cause is deeply personal. She lost her brother, SS Arthur White IV, to PTSD on June 26th, 2021. A Special Operations soldier in the Army from 1994 to 2006 and later a contractor for the NSA, Arthur was a true war hero whose struggles were unseen until it was too late. His loss has profoundly impacted Mary and her family.
Having witnessed firsthand how horses can bring out deep-rooted healing in many of her students and friends over the years, Mary strongly believes in the added benefit of equine therapy. Her dedication is also inspired by her family’s ongoing service to the nation and community. Mary’s niece is an active Navy Sailor, serving as a Nuclear Engineer on submarines, and her cousin is an active LAPD detective.
Driven by her brother’s memory and her family’s legacy of service, Mary’s goal is to support the warriors of our country by helping them in their continued fight when they return home. She is committed to helping as many sisters as possible from losing their brothers to the unseen PTSD battles that take lives, ensuring families can keep their loved ones safe and supported.
